Which other integration methods can I use to import my catalog ?

Modifié le  Mar, 18 Août à 10:26 H

Besides the manual file import, three methods can feed your catalog on the Alltricks marketplace: the FTP/HTTPS connector, the API integration and a feed aggregator. This article describes what each method covers and how to set it up.

How do I set up an FTP/HTTPS connector in Mirakl?

The FTP/HTTPS setup only covers products and offers. It does not automate the sales cycle.

  1. From your Mirakl shop, go to Boutique (shop), then Imports.
  2. Fill in the settings of your FTP by clicking Activé (enabled).
  3. Test your settings by clicking the Tester le connecteur (test the connector) button.

The full procedure is described in the Mirakl documentation on automating product and offer uploads through FTP.

What is an API and what does it allow?

An API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of routines, protocols and tools used to build software applications and to make different systems communicate. It defines how software components must interact and makes data exchange easier.

On the marketplace, an API is an integrated web service that exchanges critical data:

  • stock levels and prices, to guarantee accurate product information;
  • the order management process, from reception to shipping, to automate and streamline processing.

APIs reduce the need for manual entry, minimize errors and allow faster answers to customers. Mirakl offers three families of APIs:

  • shop management, to administer the settings and configurations of your shop;
  • product and offer management, to update product information, prices and availability;
  • customer and order management, to track orders, manage shipments and process returns.

How do I generate my Mirakl API key?

To start using and testing the API flows, set up your shop by generating a unique API key. Go to Mes préférences utilisateurs (my user preferences) > Clé API (API key) > Générer une nouvelle clé (generate a new key).

⚠️ Important
This API key is strictly confidential. It must only be shared with the Marketplace team when needed.

To access the full documentation on API setup and usage, click Aide (help) > Connecteurs et Intégration API (connectors and API integration) in Mirakl, then browse the dedicated resources.

Can I use my feed aggregator?

Contact your Account Manager or open a support ticket to check whether the Alltricks marketplace is already connected to your aggregator: Market Invaders, Crossmods, Shoppingfeed, BeezUp, IziFlux, Channable, E-Tailize or Channel Pilot.

Three partners can also take over part of your activity depending on your need:

  • you cannot handle the product and offer imports yourself and you want to outsource your sales through dropshipping: Stockly, eliott@stockly.ai;
  • you can import products but you want to connect your offers in real time from your warehouse to the marketplace: ShippingBo, yohan.hericher@shippingbo.com;
  • you can import products and update your offers but you want to speed up shipping to the end customer with a fulfilment service: Cubyn, hello@cubyn.com.

In short

  • The FTP/HTTPS connector is set up from Boutique > Imports and only covers products and offers.
  • The API exchanges stock, prices and orders, and runs with a key generated from Mes préférences utilisateurs.
  • Only share your API key with the Marketplace team.
  • Check with the support team whether your aggregator is already connected to the Alltricks marketplace.
