The Alltricks pricing module uses three distinct price fields on your Mirakl offer: the recommended retail price, the unit price and the discounted unit price. This article covers the legal framework of the strike-through price, the role of each field and how to fill them in within Mirakl.
What do the regulations say about strike-through prices?
In accordance with the new article L. 112-1-1 of the French Consumer Code, in force since 28 May 2022, as a marketplace seller you must make sure that:
- Any promotion of a price reduction states the previous price (= strike-through price).
- The strike-through price (or reference price) is the lowest price applied to all consumers over the 30 days preceding the reduction.
- It remains possible to compare your price with the prices of other professionals (recommended retail price), provided that no confusion is created with the previous price applied.
What are the three price fields in Mirakl?
Alltricks has adapted its pricing module. There are now three distinct fields:
- The recommended retail price (PPC).
- The unit price, also called reference price.
- The discounted unit price.
⚠️ Important
On a product also sold by Alltricks, if your selling price is equal to or higher than the recommended retail price (PPC) recorded in our system, your price is deleted. Your offer is then not published online, even if you are the only seller with stock. To get it displayed, set a selling price strictly lower than the recommended retail price.
Take this pair of shoes as an example:

- 160.00 € is the recommended retail price.
- 109.99 € is the strike-through price, the reference price.
- 104.99 € is the discounted unit price.

How do I display a recommended retail price?
The recommended retail price appears on the Alltricks product listing as follows:

To do so, you have 2 options. The first one is to fill in the recommended retail price manually in Mirakl, if the update concerns very few of your references.
The second option goes through the Excel file, if the update concerns a large number of your references. You can add the recommended retail price directly through the Excel file you use to import your offer. To do so, fill in the matching column Prix Public conseillé (en € TTC). The full procedure is described in How do I fill in and import my offer file?
In short
- The strike-through price must be the lowest price applied over the last 30 days.
- Mirakl distinguishes the recommended retail price, the unit price and the discounted unit price.
- Fill in the recommended retail price in the offer description, the two other prices in the price tab.
- Fill in the discount dates: they are mandatory under the strike-through price rules.
- A reference price above the recommended retail price is deleted automatically.
