The delivery time shown to the customer on the product page is calculated by Mirakl from three elements you partly control: your acceptance time, your shipping time and the shipping method. This article explains how that delivery time is calculated and where to set it under Settings > Shipping > Shipping options.
Understanding how the Mirakl delivery time is calculated
The overall delivery time shown to the customer adds up three components:
- Acceptance time: average time between the notification of the order and its acceptance. 24 hours by default.
- Average shipping time: average time required to ship an order from your warehouse to the carrier. 24 hours by default, or the number of days you state on the offer.
- Shipping method: Standard adds 48 hours to the calculation, Express adds 24 hours.
With the default values and a Standard method, the customer therefore sees a delivery time of 4 working days.
ℹ️ Good to know
The end of day deadline is set at 4 pm. An order placed after that time adds 24 hours to the overall delivery time calculation.
Filling in my shipping time in Mirakl
Go to Settings > Shipping > Shipping options and fill in your shipping time.
Do not leave the default value at 0: it means that you hand the parcel over to the carrier on the very day the customer orders.
If a specific offer needs a different lead time, state the matching number of days in the Shipping Time field of your offer import. That value then replaces the average shipping time for that offer.
⚠️ Important
The acceptance time cannot be configured: it is measured from your own history. The only lever is to accept your orders faster.
Setting the order deadline in Mirakl
The order deadline is the last time at which an order can be placed and still meet the announced delivery time.
You can change it for each shipping option by clicking Edit on the right of the relevant line.
Setting my delivery times per zone in Mirakl
Set your delivery times zone by zone, so the customer gets a reliable indication when placing the order.

To offer different delivery times depending on the product, use the logistic classes: assign for example Express to the Small class and Standard to the Large class, then choose the logistic class of each offer at offer level.
In short
- Delivery time shown = acceptance time + shipping time + shipping method.
- Never leave the shipping time at 0.
- The Shipping Time field of the offer import overrides the average shipping time.
- Set the order deadline shipping option by shipping option.
