What is refurbished?

A refurbished product is "a previously used and/or second-hand item that is put up for sale after undergoing technical intervention to ensure its functionality and safety (product condition diagnosis, repairs, part replacement) and/or repackaging."

Part 1: Creating a Refurbished EAN Record + Associated Offer

This means you create a sheet for your refurbished product, but also push a new product offer associated with it.

  • Creating a new EAN: An EAN is tied to specific conditions. The seller must create a new EAN for each refurbished product. The only organization authorized to generate an EAN is GS1 (https://gs1.org/).

The EAN format required by Alltricks is a 13-digit number.

Product Creation (V1 applies only to bicycles)

  • Necessary Attributes to sell refurbished products:

  • Once the product record is created, push an offer with the new condition for your refurbished product, including stock quantity, SKU, and price.

If the "new" condition is not set, your product will not be visible.

Part 2: Creating a Refurbished Offer on a New EAN (Coming Soon)

We are in the process of enabling the sale of refurbished products via offer creation only.

You will need to push a refurbished offer on an EAN of the same product with an existing master record.

This means when the customer views the page of a new product, a message will indicate the availability of a refurbished version.

The only variant will be changing the "new" condition to "refurbished." You will still need to enter stock quantity, SKU, and price.
