In accordance with the new article L. 112-1-1 of the Consumer Code, in force since May 28, 2022, as a marketplace seller you must ensure that :
- Any promotion of a price reduction specifies the previous price (= crossed out price)
- The crossed-out price (or reference price) corresponds to the lowest price charged to all consumers during the last 30 days preceding the reduction
- It is still possible to compare prices with those of other professionals (recommended retail price) provided that it does not create confusion with the previous price charged
We have adapted our pricing module. There are now three distinct fields:
- The Recommended Public Price (RPP)
- The Unit Price or reference price
- The unit price Discounted
Let's take the example of this pair of shoes:
- 160,00 € corresponds to the recommended retail price
- 109,99 € corresponds to the crossed out price, the reference price
- 104.99 is the discounted unit price
To set up these discounted prices on Mirakl:
- Access your offer
- In the description section, you can indicate the Suggested Retail Price:
- In the price tab, you have the possibility to edit the unit price & the discounted unit price:
- When you modify your prices for an operation, remember to fill in your discount dates, they are mandatory in the framework of the crossed out price:
